With over 50 years of combined experience and a legacy of launching three successful fermentation businesses in Wales, we’ve spent decades building deep expertise in soy-based and Oriental-inspired ingredients.

Our Story

Our journey began with the launch of Wales’ first soy sauce company, a bold step that set the foundation for what came next. Building on this momentum, we introduced a unique range of premium, clean-label black bean products for the UK and European market. We have since expanded further, creating a diverse portfolio of miso and specialty fermented foods that continue to redefine culinary possibilities.
 

In 2024, we brought all that experience together to form Oriental Specialty Limited, a company, created to solve one of the biggest pain points in the industry: long lead times. By combining quality products, reliable supply, and tailored expertise, we help food manufacturers, agents, and distributors get exactly what they need — on time, every time.
